I am just finalizing all the items for the next box, and wow! The creativity of our region continues to amaze me. I've found some things that are really special and unique, and so lovely that I know you are going to love so much. The theme for this box is cozy self-care, because I really need that right now and I think so many others do too. I've been playing with ways to get word out about the box, seeing what works, what appeals to people. I mostly hope people will treat themselves, but I think it's a great gift idea. One person told me she and her husband bought her a box as her Christmas gift together, as it will be a surprise for her and he doesn't have to shop! I also think if you are company who is looking for a replacement for your Christmas party, or appreciation for your 'work from home' employees, a local subscription box is a great option as it supports local businesses and community, while giving back to your staff. If you have any ideas about how to get the word out, I'd love to hear them.
I am having so much fun sourcing and collecting the beautiful items that are going in my test box and I can't wait for everyone to see them! I'm waiting on some packaging to arrive, as I want the boxes to be a full experience. Sadly, the boxes I wanted weren't available in a small volume, so I had to go with my second choice, but I have a few extra goodies in mind to make up for it! I think I should be ready to deliver boxes next week if the boxes get here soon!
I love supporting local and the people who are the heart of the community. The Joyful Life Box was created out of a need to find joy in the midst of the heaviness of the world around me. It sparks joy in me, and I hope in you too!
